Global equity indexes are pointing in different directions currently after Wall Street ended higher third session in a row on Tuesday. Amazon stock rose 0.95% outperforming market ahead of Prime Day (October 11 and 12) , Apple shares slid 0.34% on Tuesday.

Forex news

The Dollar weakening is intact currently . The live dollar index data show the ICE US Dollar index, a measure of the dollar’s strength against a basket of six rival currencies, slipped 0.2% on Tuesday.

Both EUR/USD and GBP/USD resumed their climbing yesterday. Both euro and Pound are steady against the dollar currently. USD/JPY reversed its sliding on Tuesday while AUD/USD slowed its advancing with both the yen and Australian dollar lower against the Greenback currently.

Stock Market news

Futures on three main US stock indexes are higher currently as the yield on benchmark 10-year US notes edged down to 4.641% currently. Stock indexes ended up on Tuesday with three main stock benchmarks recording daily gains in a narrow range from 0.4% to 0.6% as Atlanta Fed President Raphael Bostic said he didn’t “ think we need to increase rates anymore."

European stock indexes are mixed currently after closing sharply higher on Tuesday with travel stocks leading gains while the International Monetary Fund lowered its euro zone forecast by 0.2 percentage points to 0.7% and reiterated a global growth forecast of 3% for the year. Asian indexes futures are mostly higher today with Australia’s All Ordinaries ASX 200 Index leading gains.

Commodity Market news

Brent is higher but still below $90 currently. Oil prices dipped on Tuesday while benchmark Dutch gas touched a seven-month high and settled 14% higher as the subsea link connecting Finland with Estonia was shut on Sunday and on Tuesday Finland's president said the damage was likely the result of "outside activity." The US oil benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) lost 0.5% but is higher today. Brent fell 0.57% to $87.65 a barrel.

Gold Market News

Gold prices have resumed advancing currently . Spot gold lost 0.1% to $1,859.50 an ounce on Tuesday.
