Ford Technical Analysis

The technical analysis of the Ford stock price chart on daily timeframe shows #S-F, Daily has resumed climbing above the 200-day moving average MA(200) which is rising itself. We believe the bullish momentum will resume after the price breaches above the upper boundary of Donchian channel at 24.94. This level can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to buy. The stop loss can be placed below the lower boundary of Donchian channel at 19.72. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved every day to the next fractal low, following Parabolic indicator signals. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level (19.72) without reaching the order (24.94), we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.

Fundamental Analysis of Stocks - Ford

Ford stock jumped after the company announced it will boost production of upcoming F-150 Lightning electric pickup. Will the Ford stock price continue advancing?

Ford Motor Company is an American multinational automobile manufacturer which sells automobiles and commercial vehicles under the Ford brand, and luxury cars under its Lincoln luxury brand. Its market capitalization is $97.15 billion. The stock is trading at P/E ratio (Trailing Twelve Months) of 34.1 currently and the revenue for the twelve months ending September 30, 2021 was $134.615B, a 2.83% increase year over year. Ford announced Tuesday morning that it is preparing to boost its production capacity for the upcoming F-150 Lightning electric pickup to about 150,000 trucks per year - nearly four times the capacity that Ford had originally planned for its first electric pickup truck. Shares surged by more than 10% after the morning announcement before giving back some of the gains at closing. F-150 Lightning is on track to begin shipping in the spring. In the light of rising demand for electrical vehicles Ford also plans to increase its global EV production capacity to 600,000 units by 2023. Higher demand for electrical vehicles is bullish for Ford stock.
